Oil and gas asset turnarounds (TAR’s) are a critical time in the ongoing operation of a facility and a period of peak, intense activity. A well-planned shutdown event can positively impact the plant and have it running at capacity for years, but a poorly planned one can significantly impact both a safety and cost perspective.
