SPECIALIST & ROPE ACCESS SERVICES


APS was initially established to provide innovative, safe, and cost-effective access solutions to sophisticated infrastructure, power generation and construction projects.

Between 2007 and 2011, APS expanded its service offering to include scaffolding, rope access and a range of contract services such as fabrication, design and installation. These complementary services have enabled APS to deliver access solutions on some of our nation’s most iconic buildings and some of the country’s largest construction projects in both the Infrastructure and Oil and Gas market sectors.

Being a holistic access and engineering provider, we are recognised industry-wide for providing the right access systems for each situation. Our vision is to educate people on the pros and cons of each system to drive safety, cost and time efficiency across the industry.

APS ACCESS PLATFORM SYSTEM

The APS proprietary access platform system is a multi-functional, modular and engineered access system which provides heavy loading capabilities while also providing complete flexibility in its installation through a multi-faceted and modular configuration.

The in-house APS engineered access platform system has been utilised across the power generation, O&G and infrastructure sectors, providing significant cost, time and safety benefits to the customers.

APS MODULAR SCAFFOLD SERVICES

APS owns 1000+ tons of Layher scaffold. Our dedicated in-house scaffold design and engineering team have worked on some of the most complex projects across the country. Our highly trained site scaffold workforce comprises of 60+ core scaffolders and over 100 additional personnel to support projects as required.

Our services go further than engineering and site installation to include scaffold dry hire, inventory control and scaffold sales. We also provide customers buy-back options to help them optimise project costs.

INDUSTRIAL ROPE ACCESS

The APS rope access service supports our range of capabilities and packages, ensuring a safe, efficient, and economical approach to access and management, maintenance, construction, and decommissioning across multiple sectors.

As part of the IRATA accredited Vertech Group we are one of Australia’s largest and most experienced providers of rope access services in Australia and New Zealand and take great pride in the safe, efficient high quality delivery of our people.

ENGINEERED DECKING

The group's engineered decking system is a lightweight, versatile work platform designed for pipe racks and under-deck areas such as bridges, jetties and helidecks.

This dynamic system has been utilized globally on a multitude of infrastructure and energy assets, proving itself to be quick to install, robust, with minimal wind loadings or contact points. In the right scenario, the system can offer up to a 60% time saving compared to traditional access systems and methodologies.

TENSION NETTING

For projects not requiring heavy lifting, frequent traffic or encapsulation these rated, ultra-lightweight systems can be erected and dismantled at an unprecedented speed. Suitable for areas where access would otherwise be limited to large scaffolding or decking systems. the tension netting systems are minimally affected by wind or water loading and costs a fraction of other access systems available.
The APS team can design and engineer the system, then provide rope access and multi-access teams and riggers to install and maintain the system, specifically to the project requirements.

CUSTOM ACCESS PLATFORMS

APS provides custom designed and fully engineered work platforms. This approach is especially useful when access is required to tight or unusual geometries (such as offshore platform legs, jetty pylons and new build architectural structures) and is an effective method of engineering out ongoing costs or risks when accessing the work front.

APS have an in-house engineering and drafting team, a large specialist fabrication facility and unrivalled experience in access engineering.
