As part of the early works for the Metro Tunnel project, the APS crane and rigging services team successfully installed the Franklin East and A’Beckett Street Yongnam Steel.
The Yongnam Steel is a prefabricated propping system made up of varying sizing and weights and is used to provide wall support to the massive Metro Tunnel shafts that will be used to deliver and remove major underground tunnelling and construction equipment.
