Working in one of the major shopping malls in Melbourne – the Melbourne Central project – the APS riggers and boilermakers successfully installed three levels of architectural steelwork and ceilings. All works were carried out at night so that the shopping mall could be kept open for patrons during the day.
The high level of finish for the ceilings meant that extra care had to be taken to ensure that the mirror and stainless elements sustain damage during the installation phase. All steelwork and finishes were completed in-house at the APS fabrication facility.
