It surprises many that wind turbines require so much ongoing maintenance to ensure the longevity of the turbine and optimal power generation. APS provides a suite of specialist services to support the inspection, maintenance and repair of the tower, hub, nacelle and blades.

Hydroelectric Power Plants

Hydroelectric power is a major source of renewable energy in Australia, with the country housing more than 120 operating power stations. In 2019, these stations generated approximately 25% of clean electricity in Australia, equating to 6.2% of the country’s overall electricity that year.

Australia’s hydropower resources are predominantly found in New South Wales, Tasmania, and Victoria, but our group has also worked on 17 Trustpower hydroelectric plants around New Zealand.
