APS is proud to have played a key role in Australia’s first-ever 500kV terminal project at Daly’s Sydenham Terminal Station, marking a major milestone in the country’s energy infrastructure.

APS at Daly’s Sydenham Terminal Station: Delivering a Landmark Scaffolding Solution
Precision Engineering and Expert Execution

To support the installation of three high-voltage terminals, APS designed and erected a weatherproof encapsulation scaffold around the site. Key features of this structure include:
- Heavy-duty working platforms: Four platforms built inside the scaffold provided safe and stable access for Daly’s team.
- Shrink-wrap encapsulation: A protective layer ensured the work area remained shielded from external elements.
- Custom in-house engineering: Every aspect of the scaffold design was meticulously planned and executed by APS’s expert team.
- Secure counterweight system: Counterweights were installed on both sides of the scaffold to anchor the structure effectively.
Leadership in Action

The scaffold erection was successfully led by Diarmid Campbell, whose leadership and expertise ensured a seamless build while maintaining the highest safety standards.
This project highlights APS’s ability to deliver innovative, high-voltage scaffolding solutions with precision and efficiency. We’re proud to contribute to such a groundbreaking development in Australia’s power sector.
