Cogent Scaffolding: Proven Leaders in Residential High-Rise Scaffolding Across Queensland

Located on a 1.2-hectare riverside site with 130 metres of frontage, this project by Hutchinson Builders features two apartment towers with oversized residences including large penthouses. Cogent partnered with Hutchies to deliver full perimeter scaffold and form-support scaffolding across both towers, delivering safe, reliable access as the build progressed.  

Part of a major mixed-use development integrating residential apartments with hotel and resort-style amenities. Cogent contributed scaffolding labour, materials and plant, supplying perimeter scaffolding, stretcher and construction access stairs, edge protection, birdcage scaffolding, catch scaffold, handrails, mesh and mesh guards — showcasing its ability to manage complex, mixed-use high-rise projects under tight program and safety requirements.  

Ozcare’s Newstead development, Rendu Towers, was a landmark dual-tower project delivered by Hutchinson Builders, bringing together luxury independent living, a 120-bed aged care facility, corporate offices, retail spaces, extensive parking and a new public park to create an urban sanctuary in the heart of Newstead. Cogent Scaffolding was engaged to deliver the full perimeter and access scaffolding package for the project, supporting safe construction across both towers and contributing to the successful completion of this benchmark development for inner-city Brisbane. 

As the third residential apartment site in the Ascot Green community by Mirvac, Charlton House continues Cogent’s record of working with Tier-1 developers. The project represents complex urban residential high-rise construction and demonstrates Cogent’s flexibility and reliability in delivering scaffolding works across repeated stages of a master-planned community.  

One of the tallest residential developments on the Gold Coast, Ocean by Meriton rises 76–78 storeys and offers sweeping sea views. Cogent delivered formwork scaffolding and perimeter scaffolding for the duration of the project, including challenging high-level work — at times cantilevering scaffold hundreds of metres above ground to support the tower’s “Crown” section.  

One of Queensland’s most iconic coastal developments, Jewel consists of three luxury towers rising from 130 metres of absolute beachfront. Cogent was contracted by Multiplex to supply, erect and dismantle all scaffolding requirements for this landmark project, supporting a mix of residential apartments, a five-star hotel and high-end retail precincts. 

This award-winning urban renewal project required expert planning and precision. Cogent worked with Hutchinson Builders to deliver the full perimeter and access scaffold for the two residential towers, ensuring seamless integration with tight site boundaries and heritage structures.

Located on the Brisbane River, Gallery House set a new standard for luxury residential living. Partnering again with Multiplex, Cogent provided scaffolding to the podium and perimeter of both towers, showcasing its capability to manage complex staging, large volumes of material and high-rise safety controls. 

A twin-tower residential project comprising 14 levels each, Spice Apartments required Cogent to deliver safe, efficient and adaptable scaffold throughout construction. The team built the full perimeter and internal access solutions to support Hutchinson Builders across all stages of the build.
