On top of the pre-qualification, the work itself is technically demanding. At Princess Alexandra Hospital (PA), Cogent’s scaffolding supports a new multi-storey Clinical Services Building being constructed directly above the live Emergency Department, which sees more than 68,000 patients a year.

At UQ Health Sciences and St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, demolition and

redevelopment works had to proceed while hospital operations continued 24/7, with scaffolding and specialist containment systems designed to minimise disruption, manage dust and maintain public safety.
