APS has erected a temporary pedestrian overpass at Aircraft Station as part of the second phase of the Aviation Road Level Crossing Removal Project.
This project required four scaffolders to erect 25 tonnes of scaffolding to connect the station carpark to the platform. This scaffolding also included specialised pedestrian access components.
The temporary pedestrian overpass is expected to be in place until late 2021 and will be removed upon completion of the new pedestrian underpass.
