The Monash Medical Centre Tower Expansion (MMCTE) Enabling Project at Monash Health in Clayton, Victoria, is a $535 million health infrastructure upgrade. The enabling works phase ensured hospital functionality and access during construction, preparing the site for a new 7-storey building above the Emergency Department, which will be completed by 2029.
APS Industrial Services delivered the structural steel package for the Monash Medical Centre Enabling Works (P25031), including fabrication, supply, coating, and installation of external canopy structures, pedestrian walkways, and architectural fencing
The Scope
APS was engaged to deliver the structural steel, architectural steel, and associated façade support package for the project, providing a fully integrated solution from design coordination and fabrication through to installation, coatings, quality assurance, and final handover. The works incorporated a combination of heavy structural steel, exposed architectural steelwork, canopy structures, walkway systems, and façade support elements requiring high levels of precision, durability, and finish quality.
